In its 10th year, BtcTurk transfers its experience in self-service financial services to new sectors
On 1 July, BtcTurk celebrated its 10th anniversary — in an industry that has only been around for 14 years. It has launched its campaign “There’s Always More”. Details on new BtcTurk-branded products and services were revealed in a press conference hosted by BtcTurk Founder Kerem Tibuk and BtcTurk CEO Özgür Güneri. In its 10th year, BtcTurk has been restructured as a group of brands. It will act as a broker not only for Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, but for the trading of stocks. BtcTurk will be the first brand in Turkey to provide services to both the cryptocurrency and the capital markets.
Founded on 1 July, 2013, BtcTurk is the largest cryptocurrency trading platform in Turkey and the fourth largest globally. The company is celebrating its 10th anniversary with new services and by becoming a new organisation. With a fresh motto, “There’s Always More”, BtcTurk has restructured itself as a group of brands, aiming to offer end-to-end self-service financial products to individuals and corporations, while embarking on initiatives that will change the financial ecosystem in Turkey.
BtcTurk | Pro has become BtcTurk | Kripto
The BtcTurk | Pro app, which offers access to over 80 cryptocurrencies for professional and experienced users, has changed its name and transformed into BtcTurk | Kripto, adding new and diversified product features.
BtcTurk | Hisse goes online
BtcTurk users will now be able to trade stocks listed on Borsa Istanbul with the “BtcTurk | Hisse” app. With this innovative new app, BtcTurk will allow access to financial services both in the cryptocurrency and traditional capital market. This is currently not offered by any other Turkish brokers.
With BtcTurk | Hisse, users won’t need to wait for two days for their transactions to clear, which is the typical in the stock market. With the ‘Use Now’ feature, users can transfer their balances into their accounts immediately after an exchange takes place. Users can also trade stocks on the weekend, allowing them to trade cryptocurrencies with their balances. BtcTurk | Hisse will operate under Eliptik Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş.
The app is designed both individual users and corporations
BtcTurk, a firm operating for a full 10 years of Bitcoin’s 14-year history, is consolidating its place in the finance ecosystem. A press meeting was held at Istanbul Swissotel with senior BtcTurk figures present.
